Charlotte Wheeler brings a fresh, passionate approach to her role as Oral Health Therapist at St Lucia Dental. After earning her Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Otago in 2024, she joined the team in early 2025—ready to make a difference.
I aim to provide high-quality dentistry to individuals of all ages, expressing empathy
and compassion through every experience. I have a warm and friendly nature to
ensure the comfort of my patients, and love to see them leave with a smile! By
focusing on education and prevention, I strive to empower my patients to improve
their oral health and overall wellbeing. A highlight within my role would be visiting the
local Kindys to teach the young children how to look after their teeth. I am grateful to
be a part of the St Lucia Dental family, and am looking forward to meeting you!
Qualifications
I found my passion for preventative dentistry working as a Dental Assistant prior to
my Bachelor of Oral Health degree. I was lucky to work alongside an Oral Health
Therapist, a General Dentist and an Oral Surgeon, where I learnt valuable
knowledge about the different aspects of dentistry.
Other Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy playing team sports such as touch rugby and netball. I often
travel home to New Zealand to visit my family.
