With 6 years of experience in the dental industry, she began as a Dental Assistant in Cairns before completing her Bachelor of Oral Health in Rockhampton. She continued working throughout her studies and has now been practising for the past 3 years since graduating.

I have a strong passion for the dental industry and take pride in helping patients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their experience. I especially enjoy working with children, as they bring a fresh and rewarding challenge to the role. Every child is different, and I love adapting my approach to help each one feel calm and confident during their visit. Being able to create positive experiences for patients while contributing to their oral health is what makes the industry so fulfilling to me.

Qualifications

I have been in the dental industry for 6 years, starting off as a Dental Assistant in Cairns. After completing my Certificate III in Dental Assisting, I found a passion for the industry and wanted more for my career. I then went on to commence my Bachelor in Oral Health in Rockhampton and found myself dental assisting throughout my studies until I graduated 3 years ago.

Other Interests

Outside of work I find myself heavily involving myself in the health and fitness industry. This may be by run club in a Saturday morning with my friends or gym throughout the week.

Areas of Expertise

I have a passion and interest in paediatric dental, with a further interest in anxious and behavior management cases. I love a challenge and love working with lots of medical conditions which require extra attention and care when in the dental setting.
